Bas van Pelt wardrobe in blond maple veneer.

Bas van Pelt was entrepreneur (had his own factory), interior architect, furniture designer and resistance fighter. He survived a year in a concentration camp but was so weakened that he passed away shortly after the war ended.

armoire, closet, storage cabinet, cupboard;

shelving left and hang area right;

The veneering on the doors is magical, incredible quality, you’ll not find another soon. The pattern is called V-Match using, I’m guessing, Quarter-sawn Curly Maple, with, again guessing. mahogany interior and teak sides.

completely original!

labeled (2x): Meubelfabriek Van Pelt;

decorative brass feet with one levelling foot in the middle;

during photography we were not able to locate the hanging rod or the keys
