This fantastic design by the French “constructeur” Jean Prouvé is for the Cité Universitaire in Antony France, 1954.

Tecta produced these tables under license from Jean Prouvé between 1986 and 1988 (reissue), after which Vitra took the rights over. The Tecta tables are distinctive in that the are disassemble-able. Vitra’s tables are welded into one piece.
