Side Table by Robert Slezák, very rare early Bauhaus model from the Czech Republic

often mistakenly credited to Marcel Breuer (Thonet, Mücke Melder), he placed the wood in-between the tubes not on top 

nickel chromed tubular steel frame, with screwed on top

table top has been painted over many times, which means the original wood has been protected over the last 75 or so years and is probably in very good condition, and will be beautiful if you chose to strip and restore the original finish

from private collection, very early model: screwed together; from the 1930s
