Rokin Street Light by Alexander Schabracq and Tom Postma for the city of Amsterdam.

This is part of a public commission for the street-furniture of the main walkway from central station into the hart of the city of Amsterdam. It included lights, lamp-posts, fences and benches and was meant to impress. Unfortunately the fantastic Postmodern design never really worked in historic Amsterdam and had been removed after just 20 years. They stood along the Damrak, Rokin and Nieuwmarkt.
