REX is the 2nd generation/relaunch of the “380 Chair”, which was made by Ahrend. (the backs would occasionally break-off so production was stopped). Now 100% recyclable, the original new price includes a refundable $20 deposit which you get back when you return the chair to Circuform (even if damaged). The plastic will then be used again to make new chairs, truly circular.
