KEMBO, short for: Kom Eerst Maar Bij Ons (Come To Us First) is the company WH Gispen started after being “retired” from the company that bears his name. They shifted into mass production very quickly and simultaneously switched from tubular steel frames to rod steel frames so those are the chairs you usually see.
