“Armchair with straight back and seat on a graphite black lacquered steel frame. The back and the seat are both made of lacquered sheet steel and have a removable cover with a foam filling. Armchair 1407 was designed by Wim Rietveld in collaboration with A.R. Cordemeyer and is a variant of armchair 1401. Unlike armchair 1401 – where the sheet steel back is visible at the rear – armchair 1407 has a upholstered back.
