Gelderland Parry arm chair

Sleek, businesslike, modern and timeless design classic!

When, in the early 1960s, the Dutch "Gelderland"
 was looking for a connection with the market 
for modern furniture,
 they decided to contact the young designer Rob Parry,
 according to tradition.

He is also known for the red mailbox that has been 
part of the Dutch street scene for years. According to 
various sources, after a series of designs, 
the basis for the "Lotus Armchair" was created, which was included
 in the delivery program not much later and would 
grow into a true design icon.
