Gaston Reverchon childs Bumper Car marigold
Gaston Reverchon child’s Bumper Car (dodgem) in golden marigold yellow
This car was adapted at some point to drive free of the attraction/ring: the pole was removed and the car was made to be battery powered; so you could go exploring and endangering the neighbours. It comes with a battery charger/power converter (SELA, Italy); the battery in it now is dead and needs to be replaced.
child size, to small for an adult
metal frame and base, fibreglass body, chrome details, and a massive rubber bumper, electric motor
for a bumper car it’s in very good condition, it’s had a few bumps of course but the fibreglass body is not cracked or broken; lots of patina and signs of joyous wear
Gaston Reverchon (France) were the greatest postwar attraction fabricator of Europe; now defunct. Amusement parks will not be the same without them.
