Children’s School Chair middle-childhood SHORT
Children’s School Chair in middle-childhood, short size.
This is a classic design by Karl Nothhelfer from the mid-fifties, produced well into the this century by Casala. CaSaLa was founded in 1917 by CArl SAsse in LAuenau Germany. Ours were made in the mid to late nineties, abet a slightly simplified and updated version, still sturdy, solid and stylish as ever. After 25+ years of having children jumping up and down on them these are now ready for a new life in your home. condition: used
They come in three (3) sizes: teenager/adult, young-teen, and middle-childhood. (there is also a preschoolers size but we only had two of those). The school we acquired these from had colour coded them with coloured round sticker dots on the side: blue = tall, green = middle, red = short (yellow = preschool) Make sure you order the size you want. (Use the other pages for the other sizes.)
There is a fair amount of wear to the contact surfaces (desk top, seat and back); if you paint these surfaces the chair/desk looks fresh, almost new.
