used to give a broad beam (flood light, illuminate), but now gives gentle mood light

weathered, lots of patina, some rust, very decorative

these were renovated / refurbished about 10 years ago, when the tripod base was custom made, of blackened welded steel tube, on wheels (top-heavy, be careful when moving them about)
at that time the innards (and wiring) were replaced with a consumer friendly E27 fitting

still splash-proof, ok for occasional outdoor use
